IIN Health Coach & Kauai Vegan Meetup

WOO HOO!!!! I’m back!!!! After a long blogging hiatus, I am back in action and plan to post on a regular basis. YAY! I am really excited to do so and can’t wait to share what’s new and good with you. The first piece of news to share is that I am about halfway through the school year at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I am studying to become a Certified Holistic Health Coach. My passion for health and wellness and helping people to find their way to both, is mirrored by this amazing school and the beautiful teachers we are so fortunate to have as part of the program, like Deepak Chopra, Mark Hyman, David Wolfe, Howard Lyman and Neal Barnard. I am so fortunate to be learning from these amazing visionaries as part of this life-changing program. An IIN Health Coach takes a holistic approach to wellness and so not only will I help my clients with their diet, but we will also look at what is going on in the rest of their life, with relationships, work, exercise, and spirituality, as all are essential to building good health. To learn more about why I am doing this, check out the video below.

The second piece of news that I am excited to share with you is the vegan meetup I just started on Kauai! I really wanted a way to help people learn more about how a plant-based diet is good for your health, the environment and the animals, I was also missing having so many fantastic vegan events and meetups back in SoCal, and having a strong, local vegan community. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands and start our own meetup! Our first event is going to be at our favorite restaurant, Caffe Coco. I am really looking forward to helping others on their journey to eating more plants! We’ve had several people sign up for the group so far, and I can’t wait to meet everyone. If you want to join and stay up-to-date on our latest meetups, visit our Kauai Vegan Meetup page. There is a lot more good stuff on the way, so stay tuned!
